The Southern Automotive Conference is a collaborative effort, made possible by the automotive manufacturer associations of Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi and Tennessee.
Alabama Automotive Manufacturers Association (AAMA)
Formed in 2001, the Alabama Automotive Manufacturers Association (AAMA) is Alabama’s automotive industry advocate, with a daily priority to support industry-critical needs and engage members in relevant opportunities that help them thrive. AAMA’s goal is to champion initiatives, drive innovative ideas and lead conversations through educational events and practical workshops on topics and issues impacting the industry. AAMA is also dedicated to workforce development efforts and partners with organizations to stimulate job creation and programs for student scholarships, internships and on-the-job training. Membership in AAMA offers manufacturers, suppliers and service providers a collaborative community, strategic partnerships and the focused resources they need to succeed.
Georgia Automotive Manufacturers Association (GAMA)
The Georgia Automotive Manufacturers Association (GAMA) is a private, non-profit trade association that passionately promotes the interests of Georgia’s automotive manufacturing industry. GAMA seeks to provide information, share knowledge and conduct educational programs that enhance the professions of the automotive manufacturing community. GAMA also offers its members unique opportunities to find new business, network, host events and showcase one-of-a-kind experiences about the latest industry initiatives led by thought leaders in automotive.
Mississippi Automotive Manufacturers Association (MAMA)
The Mississippi Automotive Manufacturers Association (MAMA) was formed in 2006 to provide a forum for interaction among automotive manufacturing companies in Mississippi. The organization serves its members by promoting the growth, development and improvement of the automotive industry. MAMA\’s objectives focus on improving cooperation among companies integrally involved in the Mississippi automotive industry and conducting member activities that support information sharing on manufacturing, management and government issues that significantly impact the automotive industry. MAMA also offers scholarships to students for community college and university studies in automotive-related fields.
Tennessee Automotive Manufacturers Association (TAMA)
The Tennessee Automotive Manufacturers Association (TAMA) is the state’s leading industry organization with a mission to strengthen and expand Tennessee\’s automotive industry. TAMA fulfills this mission by fostering collaboration between industry and government entities, providing forums for networking and continuing education, preparing automotive manufacturers for workplace challenges and advocating for a regulatory environment to enable the automotive industry to thrive. TAMA members are, first and foremost, excellent corporate citizens of the state. Through their sustained work in the automotive industry, they maintain a critical role in the Tennessee economy.
